Why does my company fit in with ICNAP?

ICNAP embodies collaboration and exchange on networked, adaptive production, our understanding of Industry 4.0. We are convinced that bundling competencies and know-how is the only way to overcome the challenges and concrete problems of digitalization in production. Therefore, we rely on a broad spectrum in the composition of our community. From manufacturing companies, to enablers in digitalization, to companies that deal with the topic of networked, adaptive production on additional levels, we are always looking for new interested members.

How can my company collborate with ICNAP?

In ICNAP we are working on solutions for networked, adaptive production together with our community members. To benefit from our wide range of services, an annual membership in ICNAP is required. As a member it is possible to work on your own use cases and questions within our studies. Furthermore, our working groups are discussing current challenges and preparing solutions. Our regular community meetings offer the ideal platform to get in contact with the other partners and to stay up to date on the current results of ICNAP.

How can my company benefit from ICNAP?

In ICNAP, experts from the Fraunhofer-Institutes work together with companies in the community on practical challenges in networked, adaptive production. This results in prototypes and procedures that can be directly applied in your company. You benefit from the exchange with users and solution providers, but also with the scientists of Fraunhofer, so you are always involved in the latest developments. This strengthens your competencies and competitive position. Furthermore, there are many other connecting points to activities on a bilateral or multilateral level, for example in publicly funded research projects, or individual R&D projects.

What services does ICNAP offer?

The foundation of our services are annual studies, continuous working groups, and four community meetings throughout the year. Our members benefit from a wide range of services, the content of which is shaped by the community and its requirements. Thus, the community determines the content of the studies and actively shapes the working groups. Our meetings also sometimes take place at partner companies, so that there are always new impulses for our own work.
