Challenge and Motivation

• Huge amount of data generated in different value chains
• Combination of industrial data from different sources might lead to valuable insights but is not getting monetized yet

Objective

• Develop a blue-print for a holistic business model along the value chain
• Create a value estimation and pay-back guide for the monetization of industrial data

Procedure

• Player in the value chain: Identification of generic roles along the value chain
• Value of machine sensor data: Identification of the value that various data sources deliver (Sensors, Manufacturing Execution System etc.)
• Value of data analytics: Identification of appropriate Machine Learning / analytics models for value generation
• Value monetization: Alignment of the value proposals and dev. of strategies to capture value driven revenues
